Our live science show presenters adapt to the audience in front of them, so anyone from 5 to 95 should find plenty to engage with!
You may not find the live demos as relevant for under-5s, but please check with staff before booking if you’re unsure.
There is a loud bang in this show — a warning will be given, and ear defenders are available upon request.
Medical considerations
If you have pacemaker or other implanted medical device, we will advise you to sit towards the back of the Science Theatre as one of the demonstrations generates an electrical field, which may affect some devices.
If you are a wheelchair user and you also have pacemaker or other implanted medical device, unfortunately we would not be able to admit you to this particular show, as the wheelchair spaces in the Science Theatre are very close to the stage.
Additional information
Don’t worry if your show ends after your admission time slot has finished — it doesn’t count towards your time on the exhibition floor.
